The Wedding: January 4, 2008

It was definitely the most amazing day of my entire life. After years of preparing and six fast months of intense planning, Clint and I's wedding day was more wonderful than I could ever had imagined! I thank the Lord so much for all of His provisions and blessings and for making the day go so well without any hitches. It couldn't have been more perfect. Everything from my hair to the flowers to the smile on Clint's face was so much better than I could ever had dreamed. I am so very, very happy with how everything came out and I am so pleased that everyone who attended had a wonderful time. Here is the story of the day in photos. Us girls began the day at The Rendezvous Salon getting our hair done. Everyone had a slightly different style that represented their personality. Besides my hair, I totally loved how Mercy's came out. It was so cute and spunky and went really well with her totally cute glasses!

Both of my parents looked so stunning! My mom looked spectacular in her formal silver gown and my dad pulled of his tuxedo so well.

I had the most wonderful and helpful bridesmaids! They waited on me the whole day from getting me food to lacing me up in my dress. I couldn't have asked for better friends!

I had so much fun taking all of the bridal shots with Kristin. She found all kinds of fun lighting in the church and they turned out so beautiful!

Clint looked totally handsome in his classic tuxedo. I love how all of the photos with his groomsmen and ushers turned out!

Before the ceremony all of the wedding party spent several minutes praying and thanking the Lord for Clint and I's relationship and His gift of joining us together.

Mom and I spent a lot of time going through songs and finding just the perfect ones for the ceremony. All of the music was unique and set the tone for the ceremony. My favorite song was "Liz on Top of the World" which is what I walked down the aisle to. When the music rose the doors opened and I took that magical walk down the aisle.

Pastor Mike did an amazing job of performing the ceremony. My parents and I wrote a lot of the ceremony including parts of the vows and it was so neat to incorporate Clint and I's testimony into the ceremony.

While Clint and I lit the unity candle, Joshua played "Time in a Bottle" on the twelve string guitar.

It was always a dream of mine to have "Only Hope" performed at my wedding. While Clint and I took communion together, Hannah played the song on the piano and Kimberly sang it. It was so perfect that they had me in tears at the rehearsal.

Clint's good friend Houston drove us in his fabulous red Camaro!

The reception came together so beautifully...the cake, the candelabras, the monogramed bottles...it was all perfect! The only big problem we had was that the slideshow that I spent hours making would not work. Finally, when Clint and I showed up, I sent Clint, the sound and video guru, in to fix the problem so everyone could enjoy the slideshow. What would I do without him?

It was a magical night that I will never forget! It was also followed by an incredibly amazing honeymoon that I will be posting photos of next!
